Kenneth R. Stevens
Kenneth R. Stevens, Sr., 82, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at his home.
Born January 19, 1925 in Grahn, Ky., he was the son of the late James Levi and Melvinia (Bryant) Stevens.
He was a member of the Holiness Church of Jesus Christ, Berkeley Springs.
He retired as a mobile home sales manager in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Ellen (Hurley) Stevens; five children, Janet Rowland, Falling Waters, Brenda Rhinehart, Berkeley Springs, John W. Stevens, Sr., Berkeley Springs, Deborah Erb, Spring Grove, Pa. and Michael Stevens, Parkersburg; one sister, Dolly Keller, Hagerstown; three brothers, Odath M. Stevens, Greencastle, Billy R. Stevens, Boonsboro and Curtis G. Stevens, Hagerstown; 35 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth R. Stevens, Jr. and Timothy Stevens; one sister, Dessie Hall and one brother, James C. Stevens.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown on Thursday, October 11, 10 a.m. with Brother Pete Miller officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m.
