Paul D. Avey
Paul Daniel Avey, 87, of Hedgesville, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Baltimore, Md., March 16, 1920, son of the late William L. Avey and Cora Ashton Avey.
He was production planner for East Alco in Frederick, Md.
He was a member of Cherry Run United Methodist Church, Hedgesville; a World War II U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Berkeley Springs #37 AF&AM, 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth Weber Avey; two sons, Rick P. Avey, Hedgesville and Robert Kent Avey, Bedington; one brother, Ernest L. Avey, Berkeley Springs; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda K. Avey; one sister, Ethel Davis and one brother, William A. Avey.
Funeral services were private with Pastor Kathy Spitzer officiating. Burial at the convenience of the family.
