David J. McIntire

David John McIntire, 44, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at his home.

Born November 26, 1962 in Berkeley Springs, he was the son of LouElla Stotler McIntire Johnson, Berkeley Springs and the late Glenn Sherman McIntire.

He was of the Methodist faith.

He attended Berkeley Springs High School.

He worked as a certified nursing assistant at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs and at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Hannah Katrice McIntire, Berkeley Springs; his companion, Charles Douglas Wilcher, Berkeley Springs; two sisters, Cynthia Kay McCoy and Penny Sue Shirley, both of Berkeley Springs; one brother, Ronald Glenn McIntire, Berkeley Springs and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Calvin Regal Johnson.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, September 29, at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs, with the Rev. Dr. Robert S. Osborne officiating. Interment private.
