Ronald F. Abbott

1934-2007

Ronald Franklin Abbott, 72, of Dillsburg, Pa., formerly of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va.

Born February 7, 1934 in Premier, he was the son if the late Bernard E. and Racheal Williams Abbott.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the U.S. Army.

He retired in 1997 after 27 years of operating Ron's Service Center in Glen Burnie, Md.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Jo Richardson Abbott; one son, Randy Alan Abbott, Berkeley Springs; four daughters, Ronda Jo Schell, Mechanicsburg, Pa., Robin Lynne Holladay, Dillsburg, Renee Jean Greenstreet, Farnham, Va., Roma Lisa Moser, Gettysburg, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Ramona Lawrence, Blacksburg, Va., Betty Jean Davis, Princeton and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Sunday, September 30 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg. Interment and graveside services were held on Tuesday, October 2, at Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton.
