Bert J. Bowman

1923-2007

Bert J. Bowman, 84, of St. George, Utah, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Dixie Regional Medical Center, Utah.

He was born in Washington, D.C. on March 7, 1923, son of the late Bert and Violet Miller Bowman.

He married Nancy Ann Bohrer Bowman April 6, 1954 who died April 1, 2001.

He was employed as an electronic plate maker for the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C.

He was a Protestant and a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Judy Stewart, Las Vegas, Nevada and Marcie Duston, St. George, Utah; two sons, Jonathan Bowman, Concord, Calif. and David Bowman, Minneapolis, Minn.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, Saturday, August 25. Burial was at Union Chapel U.M. Church Cemetery.
