Mary E. Pracht

1925-2007

Mary Elizabeth Lupton Pracht, 81, of Paw Paw, died Monday, August 20, 2007 in Cumberland Memorial Hospital.

Born September 3, 1925 in Kirby, she was the daughter of the late Frederick W. and Lucy C. Heare Lupton.

She was a telephone operator for C&P Telephone Co.

She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She was a past member of Paw Paw Town Council and a member of the V.F.W. Post 1101 Auxillary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfons Pracht, in 1985 and a brother, William Lupton.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Pracht, Paw Paw; one stepson, Gordon Pracht, Forestville, Md.; three sisters, Violet Smith, Kirby, Maxine Haines, Delray and Betty Bryant, Hamilton, Ohio; one brother, Wayne Lupton, Kirby; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be today, Wednesday August 22, at 2 p.m. in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta with Rev. John Vetter officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery Augusta.
