Recent sentences by Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:

Daniel W. Allen, 25, of French Lane, Hedgesville, was sentenced to a year in jail and ordered to pay $1,186 fine & court costs for driving while his license was suspended (2nd offense). The jail time will be served concurrently with a Berkeley County sentence, and he was credited with time served.

Steven Richard Mills, Mawani Terrace, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to six months in jail and ordered to pay $186 court costs for violating a protective order. Three months of the jail time were suspended and he was placed on a year's probation, during which he must attend counseling.
