Mary L. Duffey

1943-2007

Mary Louise McDaniel Duffey, 64, of Great Cacapon, died Thursday, August 2, 2007, at Winchester Medical Center.

She was born in Washington, D.C. June 9, 1943, daughter of the late Hubert McDaniel and Margaret Fugett McDaniel.

She retired as Human Resources Manager for Bell Atlantic Telephone System. She was a high school graduate of Western High School in Washington, D.C.

She was affiliated with the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Great Cacapon.

She was a member of the Telephone Pioneer, Charter Member of the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

Surviving are her husband, Clarence E. Duffey, Great Cacapon; one daughter, Angela Duffey Fallin, Cross Junction, Va.; one grandchild, Alexander Haley Fallin and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday, August 10, at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Chapel, Great Cacapon, with Pastor Larry Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be at Duffey Family Cemetery.

Viewing will be Thursday, August 9, from 2-7 p.m. at the Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 36 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs. The funeral home will be open all day Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
