David L. Webb
David L. "Louie" Webb, 61, of Martinsburg, former longtime resident of Frederick, Md., died Friday, August 3, 2007, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda Fisher Webb.
He was born on March 14, 1946, in Rockville, Md., son of Maggie L. Webb of Thurmont, Md., and the late Arthur P. Webb, Sr.
He was a sheet metal mechanic previously employed with Fort Detrick for many years.
He was a U.S. Marine and served two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He was a member of AMVETS Post 2 and Smith Mountain Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving besides his wife and mother are one son, Shannon K. Webb, Smithsburg, Md.; one daughter, Jennifer A. Korrell, Berkeley Springs; three grandchildren, Cody Korrell, McKayla Korrell and Rylie Webb; nine brothers and sisters, Paul Webb, Kearneysville, Ella Lee Kiley, Germantown, Md., Bill Webb, Taneytown, Md., Ralph Webb, Tucson, Ariz., Bonnie Schultz, Union Bridge, Md., Debbie Kurz, Ruby Blickenstaff and Jane Wolfe all of Thurmont, and Jimmy Webb, Emmitsburg, Md.
Services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick, today, Wednesday, August 8 at 11 a.m. with Dr. Jerry A. Price officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
