Katherine Virginia Watson, 89, of Berkeley Springs, formerly of Cream Ridge, N.J., died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at her home.

Born March 28, 1918 in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Percy and Viola Edna Danberry Johnson.

She attended First United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs.

She was a graduate of Junior #3 High School in Trenton and was a homeworker. She liked knitting, sewing, pen and ink drawing, landscape painting and working puzzles.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy E. Schilling, Unger and Donna V. Strong; five grandchildren, Richard Schilling, Borger, Texas, Tammie Steward, Berkeley Springs, Lisa Rinyu, Lora Rinyu and Jason Matthews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Herbert Watson on July 31, 1985, one son, Barry H. Watson and one brother, Howard Johnson.

Services and interment in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing Township, N.J. will be private.
