Faye Z. May, 90, formerly of McConnellsburg, Pa., died Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Homewood Retirement Center in Martinsburg, Pa.

Born April 1, 1917, in Mankato, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Jacob Scott and Anna Barhart Zimmerman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl May.

She was formerly employed as a seamstress by Sagner Clothing Co. in McConnellsburg.

She is survived by one daughter Laraine Chaney, Martinsburg; one son, Harold Fix Jr., McConnellsburg; one sister, Freeda Shriver, Berkeley Springs; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one infant daughter; two sisters, Lena Lindsay and her twin sister, Maye McGray, and two brothers, Hayes and Royce Zimmerman.

Service will be today, Wednesday, July 18 at 1 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dott, Pa.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
