Lauren Bowden donates hair

Lauren Bowden, six years old, of Indialantic, Fla., daughter of Lisa and Sean Bowden, decided to help others in need.

Her blonde locks of love will be sent to the nonprofit organization that creates wigs of human hair for children suffering from cancer.

Indian Harbour Beach salon says she was the youngest that they had ever seen do this. Hair must not be chemically treated and must be at least 12 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Milburn, Littlestown, Pa., former Morgan County residents and great-granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Courtney of Great Cacapon.
