Wednesday, July 18

9-10 a.m. Flowers, trees and tracks: Meet the naturalist at the lodge for hike on the Cat in Loop Trail.

1:30 p.m. Nature Bingo: Meet at the Nature Center.

3-3:30 p.m. Kickball: Meet at Nature Center.

5-5:30 p.m. Eyewitness Bears: Movie at the Nature Center.

7-8 p.m. Meet the naturalist at the lodge for this 3/4 mile interpretive trail.

Thursday, July 19

8:30-9:30 a.m. Meet at the Nature Center for a morning bird walk. Binoculars and field guides are helpful, but not necessary.

2-3 p.m. History Stroll: Take a step back in time and discover the park's history.

4-5 p.m. Crafts: Meet at the Nature Center.

7:30-8:30 p.m. Deer Stroll: Meet the naturalist at the lodge.

Friday, July 20

1-1:30 p.m. Basketball: Meet at the basketball courts next to the tennis courts.

3-3:45 p.m. Tracks Among Us: Meet at the Nature Center to make a plaster of paris track to take home. Search for all the different signs animals leave behind.

5-5:30 p.m. Meet at the Nature Center for this 30-minute video that explores the world of amphibians.

7-8 p.m. Ridge Trail: Go to the Nature Center to begin this one and one-half mile hike that provides views of Cacapon Mountain.

Saturday, July 21

10-11 a.m. Forgotten Trails: Meet at the lodge for hike.

1-1:45 p.m. WV Snakes: Do you know which snake is West Virginia's largest? Meet at the Nature Center to learn more about some common species that may be found in the park.

3-3:30 p.m. Scavenger Hunt: Join for a fun afternoon game searching for items on the list. Meet at the Nature Center.

5-5:30 p.m. Meet at the Nature Center to play a game of Ultimate Frisbee.

8-9 p.m. Meet at the Campfire Circle beside the Nature Center for a marshmallow roasting. Take marshmallows. Sticks are provided.

Sunday, July 22

The Nature Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

1-1:30 p.m. Eyewitness Survival: Which animal is the greatest survivor of all? Meet at the Nature Center for this 30-minute video on how animals survive in the wild.
