Wilson-Lopp wedding
Lauren Kristy Lopp and Clayton Wayne Wilson were united in marriage on October, 14, 2006. A traditional ceremony was held at Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. Robert S. Osborne officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Craig and Susan Lopp of Berkeley Springs and Kristine Darlington of Des Moines, Iowa. She is the granddaughter of Janet Lopp of Berkeley Springs and the late Robert Lopp, Albert Fauss of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and the late Doris Koehler and Patricia Wise.
The groom is the son of Barbara and Major Jerry Wilson (Ret.) of Avonmore, Pa. He is the grandson of Majorie Eberling of Moundsville and the late Edward Magers, and Myrtle Blake of Moundsville and the late Carlos Wilson.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Jillian Reynolds, Richmond, Va. Bridesmaids were Megan Ross, New York, N.Y., Neely Morris, Atlanta, Ga. and Porsche Yates, Lewisburg. The guest book attendants/greeters were aunt of the bride Kathryn Browne, Pittsburgh, Pa. and Melanie Murray, Indiana, Pa.
The best man was Gary Hazy, Indiana. The groomsmen were Burgess Freeman, Las Vegas, Nev., Josh Hankinson, Philadelphia, Pa. and Sam Smeltzer, Chambersburg, Pa. The ushers were brothers of the bride, Joshua and Zachary Darlington, Des Moines, Iowa.
Flower girl was niece of the groom, Baylee Frampton, Johnstown, Pa. The ring bearer was brother of the bride, Elliot Lopp, Berkeley Springs.
The ceremony was followed by a cocktail hour and dinner reception at the Cacapon Resort State Park.
The bride is a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University and her Master of Arts in Industrial and Labor Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is employed as a Human Resources Generalist with AGV Products, Inc.
The groom is a graduate of Elderton High school in Elderton, Pa. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and his Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
After a honeymoon at the Bucuti Beach Resort in Oranjestad, Aruba, the couple resides in Charlotte, N.C.
