Ronald Gene Ritchie, 67, died Monday, June 4, 2007 at his home.

He was born May 18, 1940, at Richwood, the son of the late Daniel Peck Ritchie and Helen Virginia Lantz Ritchie.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years, retiring as chief master sergeant and also worked at Raytheon.

He married Betty Rozanne Ritchie on January 7, 1960, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Deborah Ann Conn, Louisa, Va. and Susan Jean Vinson, Dale City, Va.; two sons, Daniel A. Ritchie, Dale City and Steven Ritchie, Honoloulu, Hawaii; two sisters, Carolyn Murphy, Cottle and Leah Armstrong, Craigsville; two brothers, George Ritchie, Calvin and Robert Ritchie, Indianapolis, Ind.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 9, at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw with Brian Armstrong officiating.
