NARFE meet

Morgan County Chaper 2263 of NARFE, National Active and Retired Federal Employees, will meet June 19 at noon at President Clara Weston's home, 39 Suba Court- one and one-half miles back on Tabler Road to Hungarian Drive, then Suba Court.

This is a buffet fundraiser to support Alzheimers Research. All monies received goes directly to research. All members are encouraged to attend. Harry Street will be calling for reservations. The prizes for the raffle tickets will be drawn at this time.

The May speaker was Lyn Goodwin, Community Relations Director for War Memorial Hospital. She spoke of the proposal to build a new hospital off Fairview Drive. Much discussion followed her presentation.
