Audrey C. Swaim

Audrey C. Mingus Swaim, 86, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, in the Adena Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 1, 1920 in Statesville, N.C., the daughter of the late Russell Glen and Nellie E. Lake Mingus.

She married Robert E. Swaim, of Berkeley Springs, on June 30, 1946. He preceded her in death July 31, 1982.

Survivors include one brother, Raymond Mingus and one sister, Gloria Downing, both of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Turner and Donna Jean Davis; one nephew and one niece.

She was a member of the Sunrush Church of Christ.

She had worked for the Interwoven Hosiery Mill, Berkeley Springs, and the London Fog Manufacturing Co., of Hancock.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 6, in the Haller Funeral Home, with Evangelist James Rankhorn officiating.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7, in the Duckwall Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
