NARFE meeting

The monthly meeting of NARFE Chapter 2263, will be held Tuesday, May 15, at Cacapon Lodge.

Lunch will be served at noon, dutch treat.

The speaker will be Lynn Goodwin, Community Relations Director War Memorial Hospital.

The May speaker was Audrey Morris, Starting Points Director. Also Vicki Wilcher, Executive Director of CASA and Debbie Barthlow with child abuse and neglect, foster care and adoption programs.

NARFE members are selling tickets for a fundraiser for Alzheimer's research. All funds raised goes to research. The drawing will be held at the June 19 meeting at Regans Restaurant.

The National Federation of NARFE reports that there are no federal retirement cuts in the fiscal year 2008 budget.
