Jeffrey L. Mazingo

1954-2007

Jeffrey L. Mazingo, 52, of Hancock, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at his home.

Born May 20, 1954 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late James J. and Nellie L. Cubbage Mazingo.

He was a 1972 graduate of Hancock High School.

He was employed with MCTC as a correctional officer.

He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Joyce Cubbage, Hancock, Amy Mazingo, Needmore, Pa. and Julie Kirk, Berkeley Springs; five brothers, Roger Hoffman, Marion, Kan, Calvin Hoffman, Berkeley Springs, James Mazingo, Mesa, Az., Ross Mazingo and Dennis Mazingo, both of Hagerstown, Md.; six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Koch and one brother, Foster Hoffman.

A service will be held Thursday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock. Rev. Philip E. Unger will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Cemetery, Hancock.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 2, 4-9 p.m.
