Veronica L. Spriggs

1947-2007

Veronica Lee Spriggs, 60, of Hancock, died Friday, April 20, 2007, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, Md.

Born October, 5, 1946, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late James Leon and Eleanor Fink Spriggs.

She was a 1964 graduate of Hancock High School.

She was a presser for Londontowne Corp., formerly in Hancock.

She was a member of Webster B. Harrison Post 26 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Hancock, and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1483, Berkeley Springs.

She is survived by her companion, Wayne Clingerman, Hancock; one sister, C. Annette Bishop, Flintstone; one niece; one nephew; and one great-niece.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock. The Rev. Steve Dawson will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 26, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
