Mary M. Parrill

1935-2007

Mary M. Parrill, 71, Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Extended Care Facility of Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

Born June 2, 1935 in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Walton and Eva Leona Yost Ganoe.

She was a member of Berkeley Springs Church of the Nazarene.

She attended the Annex School in Berkeley Springs.

She had worked as a clerk at Junior's Supermarket and at Weber's Meat Market, both in Berkeley Springs.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Berkeley Springs Volunteer Fire Company, the Ladies Auxiliary of Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post #60 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4244, all in Berkeley Springs. She had been a homemaker in recent years.

She is survived by three sons, Mark L. Ganoe, Tornado, and Ronnie E. Parrill and Wade V. Parrill, both of Berkeley Springs; two grandsons, Douglas Ganoe and Daniel Ganoe, both of Tornado; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Edwin Parrill on November 12, 1995; one sister, Helen E. Ganoe and four brothers, Theodore "Pete" Ganoe, Melvin W. Ganoe, Albert A. Ganoe and Vernon E. Ganoe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today Wednesday, April 25 at the Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, with Rev. Rodney C. Truax officiating. Interment will be in Alpine Church Cemetery.
