Recent sentences by Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:

Thilo Mervin Davis, Sr., 47, of Lafayette Avenue, Manassas Springs, Va. was given a suspended sentence of 90 days in jail and placed on a year's probation for domestic battery. He must also pay $186 court costs and attend counseling.

Michael Dean Watkins, 21, of North Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay $321 in fines & costs for possession of a small quantity of marijuana and obstructing an officer. When released, he will be on six months probation.

Daniel Joseph Hursh, 26, of Charlottesville, Va. was given a suspended sentence of 10 days in jail and ordered to pay $841 fines & costs for fleeing from an officer and having defective vehicle equipment.

Richard Watkins, 18, of Paw Paw was ordered to pay $286 fine & costs for destruction of property.

Mark Anthony Slone, 45, of Bowles Ridge Road, Leon, was ordered to pay $236 fine & costs for possession of small quantity of marijuana.

Benjamin Lynn Hall, 52, of Colt Road, Bedford, Pa. was sentenced to a day in jail and ordered to pay $529 fine & court costs for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

Mark Thomas Munson, 20, of Rising Run Lane, Hedgesville, was sentenced to a day in jail and ordered to pay $529 fine & costs for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

Kenneth Charles Richardson, 19, of Verona Road, Jacksonville, North Carolina was sentenced to a day in jail and ordered to pay $209 costs for disorderly conduct. The charge was pled down from domestic assault.

Stephanie Holt of Great Cacapon was ordered to pay $472 in restitution & costs in two worthless check cases.
