2007 Health Olympics: Walk with the doctor Thursday evenings

The 2007 Health Olympics is sponsoring a "Walk with the Doctor" tomorrow evening at 5:30 p.m. at the track at Widmyer Elementary School. Joining event organizer Dr. Matthew Hahn to host the event is Morgan County's newest commissioner, Brenda Hutchinson. Participation is free and open to all. Health Olympics participants are encouraged to attend, though attendance is not necessary to participate in the 2007 Health Olympics.

"Walk with the Doctor" will take place every Thursday evening through April and May, and will alternate between Berkeley Springs and the Rail-Trail in Hancock. Each week, a different local luminary will join Dr. Hahn to host the activity. Participants are encouraged to come with questions for the hosts to spur conversation along the walk.

Sign-ups for the 2007 Health Olympics continue through this Friday at Tri-State Community Health Center, Rankin Fitness Center, Curves locations in Berkeley Springs and Hancock and War Memorial Hospital.
