Hilda J. Wise

1928-2007

Hilda Juanita Wise, 78, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Hagerstown Md., April 7, 1928, daughter of the late Renner Brewer and Julia Mae Reid Brewer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Dick" Richard Wise, Sr.

She retired from Giant Food in Manasas Va.

She was a Protestant.

She was a senior regent Women of the Moose #1311, Berkeley Springs and was active with the Senior Life Services of Morgan County.

Survivors are one daughter, Penny Wise, Berkeley Springs; W.Va., two sons, Ronald Wise, Unionville, Va. and Charles "Rick" Richard Wise, Jr, Aurora; two sisters, Mildred Marker and Thelma Beard both of Hagerstown, Md., two brothers Harry E. Brewer of California and Reid Brewer, Funkstown, Md.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Renner L. Brewer and three sisters, Ruth Detloff, Goldie Virginia Barkdoll and Helen Durben.

Women of the Moose held a memorial service, Saturday, March 10 at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial was at Greenway Cemetery.
