Vaughn K. Braithwaite

1932-2007

Vaughn K. Braithwaite, 74, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., died Friday, February 9, 2007, at his residence.

He was born November 11, 1932 in Berkeley Springs, the son of the late Willard Iden Braithwaite and the late Dorothy Kaylor Braithwaite.

He was of the Catholic faith, and was fourth degree Knights of Columbus. He retired from the aviation industry as an aircraft master mechanic.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Josephine Cohill Braithwaite, formerly of Hancock, at home; William V. Myers; and one granddaughter, Kirsten Dorosh, all of Shepherdstown.

Services will be held on Monday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 216 South Duke Street, Shepherdstown. The celebrant will be the Rev. Fr. Matthew Rowgh. Interment will be private.
