Land purchase for new hospital expected soon

An announcement is expected soon about a land purchase for the site of the new Morgan County War Memorial Hospital. Preliminary negotiations have occurred and a final agreement is in the landowner's hands, according to hospital officials.

If approved by all parties, the contract could come before the Morgan County Commission as soon as either this Friday's meeting or their following meeting, which is February 9.
