Valedictorian and salutatorians at Paw Paw High School
The salutatorians are Caitlin Shambaugh and Daniel Oliver. Shambaugh is the daughter of Wade and Kathleen Shambaugh of Paw Paw. She has maintained a 3.69 grade point average throughout her high school education. Her honors have included National Honor Society, Senior Class President, Scholar Athlete and Paw Paw High School Honor Roll. Her activities include band, cheerleading, newspaper and yearbook.
Oliver is the son of Dana and Brenda Oliver of Great Cacapon. He has maintained a 3.7 grade point average throughout his high school education. His honors have included National Honor Society, Student Council Representative, Paw Paw High School Honor Roll, Scholar Athlete, Offensive and Pitching Baseball MVP, Regional Math Field Day, Placing First in State Art Contest, and Highest Batting Average Leader in the area. His activities include baseball, student council, and being a technology intern at Paw Paw High School.
The valedictorian is Michael Bradford. He is the son of William and Mary Bradford of Paw Paw. He has maintained a 3.9 grade point average throughout his high school education. His honors have included Rotary Student of the Month, Mountaineer Boy's State, Scholar Athlete, County Math Field Day, Golden Horseshoe, National Honor Society President, Paw Paw High School Honor Roll, Allegany College of Maryland Honors List, Most Improved Band Student, Senior Class Treasurer, Offensive Baseball MVP and Basketball MVP. His activities include basketball, baseball, band, and Paw Paw Church of Christ Youth Group.
Shambaugh will enter Potomac State College in the fall majoring in business. Oliver will enter Allegany College of Maryland majoring in computer technology. Bradford will enter Potomac State College majoring in physical education with an emphasis in sports management.
These three individuals gave their graduation addresses on Friday, May 23 during the 103rd commencement exercises at Paw Paw High School.
