Anne E. Miller

1924-2007

Anne E. Miller, 83, of Cross Junction, Va., died Saturday, December 29, 2007 in an area nursing home.

She was born on September 24, 1924 in Frederick County, Va., daughter of the late James Wesley and Minnie Stotler Miller. She was a hairdresser in Washington D.C. and attended the Timber Ridge Pentecostal Church, Whitacre.

Surviving is one son, James A. Miller, Cross Junction; one brother, W. Hoover Miller, Whitacre; two sisters, Emogene Yost and Virginia Fredman, both of Whitacre; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by five brothers, Harry Miller, Alvin Miller, Albert Miller, Paul Miller and Adam Miller.

A funeral service will be at the Giffin Funeral Home in Capon Bridge on Thursday, January 3, at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Andy Collins. Interment will be the Timber Ridge Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Cross Junction.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Wednesday, January 2 from 6-8 p.m.
