Adam R. Miller
1933-2007
Adam R. Miller, 74, of Whitacre, Va., died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va.
He was born April 7, 1933 in Whitacre, a son of the late James Wesley and Minnie Stotler Miller.
He was a seasonal worker for Zeropack and worked for Mt. Hebron Cemetery both of Winchester. He was a member of the Timber Ridge Pentecostal Church, Whitacre.
He was married to Helen Bohrer Miller on August 21, 1962.
Surviving with his wife of 45 years is one son, Steve Miller, Whitacre; two daughters, Mary Ann Roach, Cross Junction, Va. and Shelia K. Miller, Whitacre; one brother, W. Hoover Miller, Whitacre; three sisters, Ann Miller, Winchester, Emogene Yost and Virginia Fredman, both of Whitacre; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Edward Lee Bohrer and four brothers, Harry Miller, Alvin Miller, Albert Miller and Paul Miller.
A funeral service was held at the Griffin Funeral Home in Capon Bridge, on Saturday, December 29, with Pastor Ronald Rankins and Pastor Andrew Collins officiating. Interment was at the Timber Ridge Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Cross Junction, Va.
