Kenneth L. Leiter
Kenneth Lee Leiter, 84, of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Veterans Hospital, Martins-burg.
He was born in Appleton, Wis., October 3, 1928, son of the late Louis Richard Leiter and Florence Evelyn Hettrick Leiter.
He was married to Mildred Henry Leiter.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1946 through 1953.
He was a retired metallurgist and a substitute teacher.
He was a Methodist.
He was a member of the DAV, Keyser and the American Legion #60 Berkeley Springs.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Stephen Leiter, Silver Spring, Md. and Andrew Leiter, Pasadena, Md.; one stepdaughter, Doro-thy V. Martin, Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Joyce D. Sommer, Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, Glenn F. Leiter, Baltimore and Harold Charles Leiter of Alabama; one grandchild, Brian Leiter.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Jackyln Leiter and three brothers, Donald Selby Leiter, Robert Richard Leiter and Arnold Allen Leiter.
Services were held at the Pleasant View Memorial Garden Chapel, Kearneysville on Friday, February 15.
Arrangements were by Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Berkeley Springs.
