Lynne Petty

Marjorie Lynne Wells Petty, 59, of Berkeley Springs died at her residence on Friday, February 15, 2013.

She was born in New Martinsville on March 19, 1953, the daughter of the late Robert B. and Lesta Fetty Wells.

She was a member of the Berkeley Springs Church of Christ and had worked for Curves in Berkeley Springs.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Douglas Petty; three sons, Scott Petty, Berkeley Springs, Brent Alan Petty, Parkersburg and Chris Petty, Parkersburg; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Petty, Berkeley Springs; one sister, Jo Martin, Tiplersville, Miss.; one brother, Phillip "Bud" Wells, Middlebourne and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services were Tuesday, February 19, at the North End Church of Christ with Roger Rush and Terry Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Beach Run Cemetery.

Arrangements by Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
