Herbert O. Johnson, Jr.

Herbert Olaf Johnson Jr., 83, of East Marion, N.Y., died Thursday, January 10, 2013.

Born December 24, 1929 in Queens, NY, he was the son of Mary Anna Hoffman and Herbert Olaf Johnson Sr.

He lived in Berkeley Springs during the 1970's and worked for PGS and later Fleetwood Enterprises.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan Gilliar Johnson; three daughters, Karin Johnson, Montauk, N.Y., Bridget Johnson, Port Washington, N.Y. and Jennifer Johnson, Arlington, Mass.; two sons, Chris Johnson, Shoreham, N.Y. and Erik Johnson, Omaha, Neb.; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Doris Allen, and one daughter, Jody Johnson Tyson in 2008.
