Recent sentences from Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:
Gary Kenneth Eaton, Jr, 42, of Kilgore Lane, was sentenced to 30 days jail, one year probation and $486 in fines, costs and fees for driving under the influence.

Joe Lewis Butts, 18, of Coughlin Lane, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and $166 costs for battery of an officer.

Charles Kevin Weber, 49, of Harrison Avenue, was sentenced to two days jail and $486 in fines, costs and fees for driving under the influence with a minor. Weber was also sentenced to one year probation and $191 in costs for possession of a controlled substance.

Forrest Logan Miller, 18, of Cacapon Road, was sentenced to six months probation and $191 costs for possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams.

Daniel W. Hall, 49, of George Lane, was sentenced to six months probation and $191 costs for possession of a controlled substance. Hall was also sentenced to $486 in costs, fines, and fees for first offense driving under the influence.
