Walter W. Miller
Walter Woodrow Miller, 95, of Warfordsburg, Pa., died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born March 16, 1917 in Amaranth, Pa., he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary Magdeline Potts Miller and the husband of the late Marie B. Fletcher Miller who died March 5, 2003.
He attended Oak Grove School and was a graduate of Warfordsburg High School.
He was a self employed farmer and had been an employee of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
He is survived by three daughters, Linda Bednarski, Martinsburg, W.Va., Kay McMillan, Osage Beach, Mo. and Debra Miller, Warfordsburg; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
A service will be held today, Wednesday, January 23, at 11 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock. Dr. Mark Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday 10-11 a.m.
