Freddie W. Johnson, Sr.

Freddie W. Johnson, Sr., 74 of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at home under the care of the Hospice of the Panhandle.

He was born on January 20, 1938, son of the late Charlett Gallion Barrow.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna M. Johnson; his brother, Boyd Kyser, Jr. and two sisters, Judy Penner and Becky Barrow.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Wavy Payne; two daughters, Tracy Spears and Penny Johnson; two sons, Freddie Johnson, Jr. and Gregory Johnson; two sisters, Jo Ann Rankin and Connie Ratcliff; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the funeral home today, Wednesday, January 23 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday, January 24 at 2 p.m. Interment will be at the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, Hancock, Md.
