Ervin E. Grimmett

Ervin Epp Grimmett, 72, of Berkeley Springs, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va.

He was born November 22, 1940 in Man, W.Va., the son of the late Wayne Anderson, Sr. and Ella Mae Hatfield Grimmett.

He was of the Baptist faith.

He graduated from Man High School and attended Marshall University.

He was an opitcal technician for Wholesale Optical Laboratory Manufacturing.

He was a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2266 in Glen Burnie, Md. and a member of Berkeley Springs Moose Lodge #1483.

He was an avid golfer, fisherman, traveler and camper.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Florence Alexander Grimmett, at home; one son, Keith Grimmett, Warfords-burg, Pa.; one daughter, Julie Haber, Stevensville, Md.; three granddaughters, Allison Grimmett, Warfordsburg and Holly and Lauren Haber, both of Stevensville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lula Morrison and four brothers, Orville Grim-mett, Frank Grimmett, Willie Grimmett and Wayne Grimmett, Jr.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, January 21 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs with Rev. Daniel Montague officiating. Burial will be in Spohrs Crossroads.
