Larry D. Cross
Larry David Verdene Cross, 70, of Hancock, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at NMS Health Care, Hagerstown, Md.
Born October 24, 1942 in Washington County, Md., he was the son of the late Stanley R. Cross and Charlotte Louella Fouche Cross.
He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
He graduated from South Hagerstown High School.
He was employed as a truck driver.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving from 1960-1964.
He was a member of Webster B. Harrison American Legion Post #26 in Hancock.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Easterday Cross, at home; three sons, Bruce Seilhamer, Jr. and David Cross, both of Hagerstown, Md. and Eric Cross, Hancock; two daughters, Roxanna Miller, Hagerstown and Jennifer Lannigan, Key West, Fla.; one sister, Nancy Caine, Hagerstown; four brothers, Joe Cross, Falling Waters, W.Va., Donnie Cross of Wisconsin, Stanley Cross, Jr., of South Carolina and Eddie Cross, of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, James L. Mongan, Jr.
Services will be private.
