David W. Belanger

David Wayne Belanger, 40, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

Born September 22, 1972 in Bethesda, Md., he was the son of Jean Marie Belanger of Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Berkeley Springs and the late Irene Nettie Brown Belanger.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs.

Prior to his disability 15 years ago, he had worked as an Information Technology Specialist with Computer’s Cyntergy in Gaithersburg, Md.

In addition to his father, he is survived by one daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Belanger, Rockville, Md.; one sister, Betty Brown, Gaithersburg; three brothers, Jerry Brown, Silver Spring, Md., John Belanger, Harpers Ferry, W.Va. and Gene Belanger, Berkeley Springs, many nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, January 5 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs, Deacon Bob Lily officiated. Interment was at Parkhead Cemetery, Big Pool, Md.
