Arthur Andrew Patton, Jr., 63, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his residence.

Born October 26, 1949 in Fort George Meade, Md., he was the son of Virginia Anne Marks Patton of Martinsburg and the late Arthur Andrew Patton, Sr.

He served in the United States Army in Germany from 1969-1971 as an executive chef. He retired as an auto transmission mechanic.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandra Joyce Fox Patton, at home; one son, Arthur Andrew Patton III, Hedgesville; two sisters, Patricia Cora Jones, Martinsburg and Debra Lee Millar, Muldrow, Okla. and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Ann Larson and Carolyn Marie Ward.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 12 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1643 Pitzer’s Chapel Road, Arden with Pastor Christine Olson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
