Jimmie W. Boyd, Sr.

Jimmie W. “Grumpy” Boyd, Sr., 72, of Warfordsburg, Pa., died Tuesday December 25, 2012 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

Born June 15, 1940 in Coretta, he was the son of the late Jerry and Belva Stacy Boyd.

He was a 1958 graduate of Grundy High School, Grundy.

He was retired from Dan’s Auto Body in Frederick, Md. as a body technician.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie K. Baker Boyd, whom he married June 22, 1972; three daughters, Vicki Jones, Hedgesville; Angelia Taylor, Inwood; Shelly Rollins, Berkeley Springs; two sons, Jimmie Boyd, Jr. and Johnny Boyd both of Warfordsburg; one half-brother, Eddie Rice, Grundy; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous cousins.

A memorial service was held Sunday, December 30 at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Rev. Ron Sagmuller officiated. Burial at the convenience of the family.
