Janice M. Welch

Janice Mary Zeitler Welch, 55, of Needmore, Pa., died Friday, December 28, 2012 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

Born May 8, 1957 in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Bernard Philip and Beatrice Gertrude Huster Zeitler.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs.

She was a graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore and attended Catonsville Community College.

She was a retired service representative with Verizon. She liked reading and cross stitching.

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Donald Lee Welch, at home; two daughters, Danielle Maria Welch and Kathleen Beatrice Welch and one son, Clifford Bernard Welch, all of Wellsburg, W.Va.; one sister, Kathleen Elizabeth Zeitler, Great Cacapon, W.Va. and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bernard Paul Zeitler, Thomas Anthony Zeitler and Charles John Zeitler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, South Washington and Liberty Streets, Berkeley Springs, with Rev. Fr. Leonard A. Smith as celebrant. Interment will be private.

Arrangements are being handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs.
