Musical comedy auditions

The Apollo Civic Theatre announces auditions for the musical comedy "High School Reunion: The Musical” to be held Saturday, January 5, from 2-5 p.m.; Sunday, January 6, from 3-6 p.m. and Tuesday, January 8, from 7-9:30 p.m. (auditions and callbacks).

Director Joey Thorne is casting for 10 men and seven women, ages 30’s to late 50’s.

Prepare a Broadway-style show tune to sing with either sheet music or an accompaniment (no vocals!) CD. Those auditioning will also learn a few basic dance moves and be asked to do cold readings from the script.

Performances are March 8-10 and 15-17. The Apollo Civic Theatre is located at 128 East Martin Street in downtown Martinsburg.
