Juanita Van Horn
Juanita Van Horn, 92, of Berkeley Springs, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at War Memorial Hospital.
Born August 31, 1920 in Hampshire County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Lillia Bell Shanholtzer Peters.
She attended Hampshire Public schools. She was a homemaker all her life.
She is survived by four daughters, Janet L. Didawick, Berkeley Springs, Sandra K. Moreland, Slanesville, Carol Ann Racey, Winchester, Va. and Patty J. Abe, Oldtown, Md.; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Clarence Herbert Van Horn, Jr.; one daughter, Connie Jolley; four sisters, Rhodia Kidwell, Orpha Bohrer, Gustava Peters and Lora Peters and two brothers, Homer Peters and Floyd Peters.
Graveside funeral services were conducted Friday, December 7 in Woodrow Union Cemetery, Paw Paw with Pastor Ed Floyd officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs.
