William M. Helmick

William Martin Helmick, 78, of Springfield, W.Va., died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Berkeley Springs Rehabilitation & Nursing, Berkeley Springs.

Born March 31, 1934 in Moorefield, W.Va., he was the son of the late Dewey L. and Nevada C. Miller Helmick.
He was of the Protestant faith.

He had owned and operated his own funeral graveside set up business. He liked hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Retha M. Fishel, Ft. Ashby, W.Va.; one son, Robert Lee Helmick, Weston, W.Va.; one daughter, Tena Marie Helmick, Springfield, W.Va.; one sister, Hazel Combs, Rawlings, Md.; one brother, Roger “Pete” Helmick, Hancock and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Helmick.

Services and interment will be private.
