Relay For Life

The regular monthly meeting of the Relay For Life of Morgan County was held Monday, November 12, 6:30, at Mountainside Restaurant. Refreshments were provided by Mountainside.

The date for the spaghetti dinner and auction fundraiser has been set for April 20, to be held at the American Legion, Berkeley Springs.

A report was given by those attending Relay University in Summersville, W.Va.

New requirements are in place for receiving a Relay t-shirt. One must register and raise $100 before the cutoff date to order shirts. If $100 is raised after the cutoff date, the t-shirt will be earned as an incentive prize.

Kick-Off Party will be January 14 at Mountainside, 6:30-8:30 p.m. It will be a New Year theme and each registered team will have the opportunity to share something at the Kickoff, such as a fundraiser, games, activities, etc.

A new team was welcomed: “Charlie’s Angels.”

Next regular monthly meeting will be Monday, December 10, 6:30 p.m., at Mountainside Restaurant. Those wishing to participate in an ornament exchange may take a wrapped ornament $5.00 or less.

Relay For Life of Morgan County will be Saturday, June 8-Sunday, June 9, 2013.
