Vivian M. Shelton
Vivian Margaret Shelton, 87, of Berkeley Springs, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Berkeley Springs Rehabilitation & Nursing.
Born April 11, 1925 in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur E. and Ida Lutman Harden.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs.
She attended Berkeley Springs High School.
She was a member of United Methodist Women and a charter member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #60.
She worked for Interwoven Mills, local tomato factories, was a cook for the Montgomery County School System and was a homemaker in recent year.
She is survived by one sister, Phyllis H. Bell, Berkeley Springs; one niece and one nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard D. Shelton on January 16, 2001 and one son, Donald Kent Shelton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 24 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, with Rev. Andrew Cooney officiating. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 23 at the funeral home.
