Putting kids in danger

Dear Editor:
On Thursday, November 1, while driving towards Berkeley Springs, I noticed a white car fail to stop for the red light of a school bus.

A week before, a white SUV failed to stop for the red lights on the bus my daughter was riding on. Her quick-thinking bus driver saw the car coming and kept the doors closed to avoid a possible tragedy.

We need to pay attention when the buses are on the road. When those red lights are flashing, stop so you don’t end up hurting or, worse yet, killing someone’s child.

Hampshire County has the police ride along on their buses occasionally.

Maybe we could do that here to catch these offenders.
