Respect graveyards

Dear Editor:
Halloween is the time to indulge one’s paranormal fantasies. It is also the day of the year when cemeteries are most abused and misused.

Cemeteries are holy grounds. They are not playgrounds to be used for amusement. Respect for those buried there — earthly reminds only, the soul goes forward — and their survivors must be year round.
