Phyllis A. Knipe
Phyllis A. Knipe, 71, of Martinsburg, died Friday, October 19, 2012 at her home.
She was a retired teacher from James Rumsey. She received a B.A. degree from Shepherd College.
Born January 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. Ambrose and Beryl V. Dawson Ambrose.
She is survived by her husband George W. “Bill” Knipe; two sons, Neville L. Leonard and Brian C. Leonard; three sisters-in-law; four grandchildren, Mathew Leonard, Emily Hockman, David Leonard and Willow Leonard and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service conducted by Pastor Craig Dearing was held Monday, October 22 at Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
Memorial contributions can be given to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
Arrangements were by Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs.
