Dear Editor:
If there was a star of Sunday’s “Meet the Candidates,” it was indisputably John Douglas as moderator.

The significant amount of preparation and thought obviously behind his questions, encouraged candidates to depart from canned speeches and expound upon issues of interest to the audience. The result was the best presentation yet of the candidates for elective office.
